Principal

William graduated from the University of Windsor in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He offers our clients over 35 years of experience in the mechanical consulting engineering and building construction industries. He is also a LEED® Accredited Professional of the USGBC and has completed several LEED® certified projects.

William’s experience comprises a wide variety of projects including performing arts centers, supermarkets, hotels, office buildings, high-rise condominium towers, low-rise residential buildings, shopping malls, retail buildings, and restaurants. He leads his projects from the conceptual stages of design through to occupancy phases. He also provides recommendations to our clients on mechanical system types and provides energy savings / green options to meet environmental needs. William’s keen attention to detail is reflected in the quality engineering services provided to our clients and is instrumental in the development of our design teams.

Principal

Alexis graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield in 1980 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, Alexis worked in Hong Kong for 8 years in the building services consulting industry and has since achieved Chartered Engineer status from the United Kingdom.

Alexis’s experience includes over 40 years in the mechanical consulting field on new construction and renovation projects. His portfolio covers a wide range of projects including high-rise condominium towers, hotels, office buildings, shopping malls, low-rise residential buildings, restaurants, and mixed-use developments. He brings a wealth of engineering knowledge to our team and has been in charge of several high profile residential condominium projects in the Lower Mainland. Alexis offers an energetic attitude while working closely with owners, developers, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure our projects run smoothly.

Managing Director

Darren graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. He continued his engineering studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University.

Darren’s involvement with Yoneda & Associates dates back to 1998 when he began apprenticing in the mechanical consulting industry while completing his studies. In 2004, he continued his engineering career by working in the Canadian aerospace industry. Darren returned to Yoneda & Associates in 2007 and has since managed numerous supermarket, commercial building, and high-rise condominium projects.

Darren is responsible for business development and operations of the company, while managing projects in both the commercial and residential sectors. He offers our clients many years of experience in the building construction industry and a wide range of expertise in mechanical engineering design and project management.
